1. Definitions
In these terms, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them:
- "Establishment": Gulf World Transport Est., Commercial Registration 1010528320.
- "Client": The natural or legal person requesting transport services from the Establishment.
- "Service": All road transport services provided by the Establishment.
- "Shipment": The goods or equipment to be transported under the service request.
2. Price Quote
The Establishment issues a price quote based on information provided by the Client (cargo type, weight, dimensions, route, dates).
The quote is valid for 7 business days from its issue date and is subject to revision if any data changes.
3. Order Confirmation and Payment
- The service order is confirmed upon the Client's written acceptance of the quote (email or WhatsApp).
- Listed prices do not include VAT (15%) unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is upon delivery or per prior agreement for long-term contracts.
- For annual contracts, billing is monthly and payable within 30 days of invoice date.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Providing accurate and complete information about the shipment (type, weight, dimensions, special properties).
- Preparing the shipment for loading on the agreed date.
- Providing required shipment documents (invoices, permits, certificates of origin when needed).
- Prior notification of any hazardous or sensitive materials before loading.
- Providing authorized personnel to receive the shipment at the delivery location.
5. Establishment Responsibilities
- Providing the appropriate vehicle at the agreed time.
- Insuring and protecting the shipment throughout transport.
- Adhering to agreed delivery dates.
- Providing GPS tracking service for real-time shipment monitoring.
- Issuing tax invoices certified by ZATCA.
6. Insurance
Shipment insurance is based on the value declared by the Client at the time of request. Basic insurance coverage is included
in the price, while additional insurance for high-value shipments is calculated separately with Client approval.
7. Schedule Commitment and Delays
- The Establishment commits to agreed delivery times to the extent possible.
- Any delay caused by circumstances outside the Establishment's control (weather, road conditions, government procedures) is not considered a breach.
- Delays caused by the Establishment's fault may entitle the Client to a discount agreed upon based on the case nature.
8. Cancellation and Refund
- Cancelling more than 24 hours before loading: no charge.
- Cancelling within 24 hours of loading: 30% charge of service value.
- Cancelling after vehicle arrival at loading site: 50% charge of service value.
9. Liability Limits
The Establishment's liability for any damage or loss of shipment is limited to the agreed insurance value. The Establishment
is not liable for indirect damages, loss of earnings, or moral damages related to the shipment.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising regarding these terms or services provided shall be resolved amicably first. Failing that, the dispute
shall be referred to the competent courts in Riyadh, governed by applicable Saudi Arabian laws.
11. Force Majeure
The Establishment is not liable for any breach of obligations resulting from force majeure including (but not limited to):
natural disasters, wars, strikes, government decisions, or any exceptional circumstances beyond control.
12. Terms Amendment
The Establishment reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Amendments apply to new orders only and do not affect
existing contracts except with mutual agreement.
